Dr Eric Murunga, FACP
Consultant Physician Gastroenterologist
Chairman, Gastroenterology Society of Kenya
Dr. Eric Murunga trained at the University of Nairobi and earned his MBChB degree in 1998. He proceeded to the USA where he trained in internal medicine. He is an American Board Certified Physician who practiced medicine in the USA for more than 10 years. He was named the Young Physician of the Year in the state of South Dakota in 2010 by the American College of Physicians (ACP). He trained in gastroenterology in Cape Town, South Africa. This led to an MPhil degree from Stellenbosch University and a Fellowship Certificate from the College of Physicians of South Africa. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
He is the current National Chairman of the Gastroenterology Society of Kenya (GSK).
Dr Carol Waweru
General practitioner/Medical officer
Dr. Carol Waweru graduated from the University of Nairobi. She has had a unique journey in healthcare. Beginning as a nurse, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in the USA and practiced for almost a decade there before
transitioning to a medical career. She has a keen interest in gastrointestinal (GI) health and is committed to staying current with the latest
advancements in GI medicine ensuring that patients receive personalized treatment plans and the highest quality of care. Her diverse background provides a holistic perspective in patient care, making her a compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare professional
Rose Waweru
Gastroenterology Nurse
Rose Waweru is a registered nurse. She is an experienced gastroenterology/endoscopy nurse who brings a passion for excellence and deep compassion in caring for her patients. She loves interacting with her patients to get them on their way to better health.
Eunice Rianto
Nutritionist
Eunice Rianto is a qualified nutritionist. After earning her nutrition degree, she completed her internship and gained valuable experience. She is dedicated to her patients and enjoys sitting with them and guiding them step by step towards healthier eating.
